5 - 14 - 2009
Today we changed the claws to a platform. We tried to start programming the light sensor ,but didn't get very far.
Our building is finished and now we just have to program. When we tried to do the light sensor all the robot did was go around in circles.
5-15-09
Today we put all of the electrical tape on the poster board. We cut each piece of poster board and put blue on one, red on another, green on one, and put yellow on the last one. We also tried to program the line follower but, all it did was follow it for a short amount of time and then it ran of course. Other times it drove in circles like yesterday.
5-18-09
Yesterday we finally found a program to get the line follower working. We also had to do some rebuilding to the robot.
5-19-09
Now we have to build the trailor because we found out that the claw will only move up and down. We also had some trouble with the line follower. It was working with the green then we tried to do the red. That is when it stoped working. It did not work on either the red or the green

we made the light sensor to on all four lines now we are working on dumping.
5 - 27 - 09
We finished the board and gotten all of the surveys. We have also gotten all of the results. All we have left is to finish programming our robot.

Today our robotics presentation went VERY well. Some of the compliments the students made were "Wow! It actually worked!" and "That was cool!!!". Our group did very well in doing our part and explaining the robot to the children's level. I think the best group were the kinders.Still, we enjoyed presenting to everyone. Our robot did really good. It followed the line for most of the grades until 4th. In 4th grade after one group it stoped following the line, so when wee did not have a group I started to find out what the problem was. I had got black, and green working before we got another group. I kept working on it in between groups. For example, while Shivani, Rebecca, and Doran were talking to the kids I was trying to figure out the programs. Nothing was wrong with with the programs it was just that we did not have it on the line very well. LonghornsGirl
